Scam Call on Labour Day

Today, I received this call from a lady:

She: Hi Sir, You get this call because recently you have participated in one of the shopping centre lucky draw and you have won a prize.

Me: I cannot remember that i participated in any lucky Draw.

She: Oh, the lucky draw is actually months ago, but we have conducted a re-draw.

Me: Errr...

She: Now you have won a 4D5N free stay at Yunan China, plus a free make-over session worth over $500 and a $160 Spa Voucher.

Me: Err...I am a guy, i don't need the spa and treatment...and Free hotel stay...i still gotto spend money air ticket to go there...i'm not interested.

She: But it's a free hotel stay at 5 star hotel, and spa voucher, you can give it to you wife or girlfriend.

Me: But I still not interested, maybe you give a free air-ticket i will consider...

She: If you do not want the free stay offer, you can give it to your relatives or friends, it is transferable...Can you come to take the prize tomorrow between 6pm - 8.30pm, it's at Delfi Orchard.

Me: Tomorrow i dun think i am free, i work till very late.

...............

She: Maybe i will call you tomorrow to fix a day

Me: Ok Ok

End of conversation

After put down the call and did a search of the above matter on yahoo.com, it's proof that my suspicion is correct...THE SCAM IS BACK...

I got similar call few years ago, even newspaper and TV have reported the SCAM, yet the same old tricks had been used over and over again. Their Tel number 68363983.

Money will never be enough

Finally the gahmen decided to increase their fat pay, not 5%, not 10% but the "unbelievable" 25%. You said pay more to prevent corruption....What's nonsense is that, if a person is corrupted, even you pay him 10 million, he will ask for 20 million.

If you said the economy is good, how come our CDF Employer contribution never increase back to 20%. Your pocket will get fattier with million of dollars with effect from this month and we have to wait till 1st july to see our CPF increment with a pathetic 1.5%.

If you said that ministers' pay must compareable to the private sectors, how come you only compare with the top 8 earners, but avoid to include in the entrepreneurs, doctors...and must have know that if you include in these group of people, it will actually bring down the perctage of the increment. Or worst, the average pay is even lower than your current salaries. Cos the entrepreneurs are the most risky group.

PM said that he will donate your increased amount to charity for the duration of 5 years. But it is too late, the decision is only made after you heard the unhappiness from the ground. Is like you step our toe that you say sorry. Moreover, what's difference will it makes where your 0.55 million contribution to the overall ministers' increment of 56 millions.

After the election, GST increase to 7%, now you increase your salaries...what will be next??? Increase bus fare? Increase Electricity bills?

Saw these banners everywhere, suddenly i thought: "Is our election coming again?"

bus fare increase again

kkn!!! Bus fare last year just increase, this year increase again. Although increase only 2 cents per trip, seem like nothing hor...but if look at the statistic of our daily passengers who take MRT and Bus everyday, it a big sum of $$$:

MRT Service :
48 stations & 85 trains serving 1,082,800 passengers daily
Bus services :
2 companies operating 258 routes with a fleet of 3,354 buses


Per day 1,082,800 x $0.02 = $21656

Workout to be additional profit of $7.9 million per year and thats didnt include the return and transfer trips...which may end up to be more that $20 million per year.

They claim to be World Class Standard, but hor sometime really fed-up taking bus:

1) It is too pack during peak hour
2) sometime wait take more than 1/2 hour for a bus

Taxis fare increase, MRT fare increase, bus fare increase...But what to do? SMRT and SBS monopolise our bus transport service, cannot boycott them, then gotta LAN LAN accept it loh!!! Haiz...if it's keep going on like this, bobian have to ride bicycle liao lah!

Starhub TV...YOU ARE PATHETIC!!!

Can't imagine what I saw when I switched to RTM1 today, The channel has a lot of disruption. Words running across the screen shows: "Please do not adjust your television set. Signal quality is inherent in the programme feed received by Starhub. We apologise for the inconvenience caused..." Haha...this is a joke!!! The channel was ok all until World Cup season. Why so coincidence, When you start to charge extra cost to starhub "Non-Sport" channel to watch World Cup, and Malaysia RTM1 give free to the viewers?

This is very unethical to do business. Just because we not pay starhub, you play this kind of dirty tricks to viewers who pay $100 over dollar annually for TV license and others Starhub TV subscribers. Not to mention that Malaysia citizens does not pay a cent for watching TV. STARHUB TV, you are very pathetic to come to this stage!

Perhaps I should not be so harsh on you... STARHUB TV. At least after you disrupted the signal, you care to warn me not to adjust the TV set and also apologise to me.

Should I believe your "excuse" and accept your apology???

记得几个月前电视播的一集（摆家乐），李国煌边搬家具，边跟屋主讲：“看，天王巨星帮你搬家具。”我听了简直要吐！这种话，连真正的天王巨星都不敢讲。

不能忍受的政府的嚣张，把组屋翻新跟选票挂钩，别人说错话，把别人告倒不破产，自己说的是真理，别人说的是废话。

TT Durai倒台的原因也是因为太过嚣张,恶人先告状,结果自掘坟墓.能力大过自信是谦虚,自信大过能力是嚣张.嚣张使人反感,如果在街上碰上Durai这类人,真想show给他看我最长的手指!!
